What is special about Taare shoes?

Our shoes are all-day, every-day shoes and probably some of the most comfortable shoes that your kids can find.

They provide superior support and protection, ensuring your child's feet stay safe and happy throughout the day. Our range offers versatile and trendy designs that can seamlessly transition from playground adventures to everyday wear.

Do your shoes run true to size, or should I size up or down?

Our shoes generally run true to size and align with standard industry sizing.

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides.

And don't worry. We offer free returns and exchanges if the shoes didn't fit quite right.

Ordering

Is there a minimum order amount for free shipping?

No, there is no minimum. All our shoes qualify for free shipping, returns, and exchanges. We want to keep it simple for you!

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, absolutely.

We will soon update our website to let you cancel or change your active order through the order history page.

Until then, please reach out to us at info@taare.com with your order number and we will cancel the order.

By the way, we offer free returns: 30 days for non-subscription members and 60 days for subscription members

Subscription Management

Can I advance my subscription?

Yes. We will soon launch our subscription management page to let you manage your subscription details, including frequency.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. You can pause and resume the subscription as per your wish within the subscription period.

Our subscription management page will go live around mid January, 2025.

I have subscribed. When will I be charged?

You are charged when the subscription box ships out.

For example, if you opted for the 'every 4 months' delivery frequency, you will be charged every 4 months when the box ships out.

For subscription preorders, you are immediately charged for the first box. All future boxes will be charged later when they ship out.

We will soon launch an annual payment option to help you save money by pre-paying boxes on an annual basis.

Can I skip a subscription?

Yes. If you wish to skip a subscription, we will ship the pair that was due on the next shipment date together.

Can I update my shipping or billing address or card details?

Yes, you can always make the changes you want in your account subscription page.

Do I need to send the old pair back in order to receive the next pair?

No. They are your shoes, and you can retain them if you wish to do so.

However, we do encourage donating the gently worn shoes via our donation program to help create a better world for kids all around.

Can I swap an item before it shipped?

Yes, you can swap an item before it ships out.

We will email you before the next pair ships out, and you will be able to login and decide if you want to continue in the same style with the next size or swap for another style.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order.

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.

Do you ship overseas?

No. We currently only ship in the United States.

When do I get my refund once I have returned an item?

We typically process your refund to the original payment card within two weeks of receiving the item at our warehouse.

I have a complaint, who should I speak to?

What is Taare's return policy?

We offer a 30-day no-risk trial period on our shoes.

You can return or exchange the shoes even if your little ones have worn them outside. We encourage kids to be active and want to ensure that they are happy with their shoes at all times.

Precaution: Before cleaning, test a small amount of mild, dye-free detergent (suitable for dishwashing or laundry) on an inconspicuous area to ensure it won't damage the material.

Cleaning Steps:

  1. Use a soft-bristled brush (like a toothbrush) and mild detergent to gently scrub away dirt.
  2. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  3. Allow shoes to air dry for 24 hours before wearing.

Special Care:

  • For suede or leather shoes, use a specialized leather or suede cleaner.
  • Avoid machine washing or drying, as many materials can't withstand water submersion or heat.

When should I replace my kid's shoes?

Here are some guidelines to determine when a kid's shoe should be replaced:

General Guidelines:

  1. Every 3-4 months: Average lifespan of kids' shoes due to rapid growth and wear.
  2. When outgrown: Replace shoes when toes reach the end of the shoe or the heel no longer fits snugly.

Visual Inspection:

  1. Sole wear: Replace if sole is worn down to 1/8 inch or less.
  2. Heel wear: Replace if heel is unevenly worn or cracked.

What shoes can I donate using your prepaid labels?

You can donate any new or gently used Taare shoes. Gently used means no obvious or significant wear and tear, no holes, no mud or excessive staining, or items with broken/missing parts.
